Every year, the Business Liaison Association, in association with a huge range of Cairns businesses, presents awards and bursaries to senior secondary school students.

These awards are presented in November each year to inspire and motivate students towards further education and their future careers. In 2022 over 170 awards were offered to the students of Far North Queensland and over 500 people attended the Presentation Evening at the Pullman Cairns Internation Hotel.

Over $60,000 in prizes and bursaries are awarded to students each year and the BLA works closely with our generous sponsors to ensure the success of these awards each year.   Information on the Awards is uploaded at the beginning of the year and aligns with the school curriculum.
