The Business Liaison Association, in partnership with FGF Developments, offer these prestigious awards to senior students in Cairns and the region who are interested in pursuing a career in the Built Environment drafting industry.
The FGF Developments Design Awards recognize outstanding design work by senior students and provide financial support to help them further their education and career aspirations.
Schools may nominate Year 11—12 students demonstrating excellence in their studies in at least one design subject including Construction, Design, Engineering, or Industrial Graphics. To be considered for these prestigious awards, students must comply with the following:
Eligibility: Students must currently be in Year 11 or Year 12 and enrolled in one of the following subjects: Construction, Design, Engineering, or Industrial Graphics.
Academic Requirements: Students must achieve a B grade or higher in school-based assessments for the relevant subjects.
Judging Interview: Students must be available for an interview if shortlisted by the judging panel.
Closing Date: Friday 3rd October, 2025
First Prize: $1000
Second Prize: $600
Third Prize: $400
