Catholic Education Diocese of Cairns
Catholic schools are welcoming and affordable!
More and more families are discovering just how accessible Catholic schools are with flexible eligibility criteria and affordable fees, discounts and concessions.
They also value the safe and caring environment of a Catholic school; where individuals matter and students are nurtured to be the best that they can be.
Values generating fundamental attitudes of respect and courtesy to each other and a sense of responsibility to oneself and others are taught, contributing to the high standards of behaviour, favourable learning environments and quality education that Catholic schools are known for.
Catholic schools are largely funded by government, however to make up for the shortfall in government funding, Catholic schools are also reliant upon school fees paid by parents. A balance is struck in setting fees that remain affordable for most families and providing concessions to those in genuine need so that Catholic schools can continue their historic role of providing access to quality education for all.
