"Mateo and Shina from Engineers without Borders did an excellent job engaging students with a hands-on, relevant engineering task. This allowed the students to experience the work of engineers in a real-life scenario. They were both very positive and patient with students and showed real enthusiasm for sharing their career. Thank you to the Business Liaison Association and Engineers without Borders for offering such a great experience to our students."

"This exercise simulated the real-world constraints faced by engineers in developing countries. Students enjoyed applying their knowledge in a practical setting and gained valuable insights into the challenges and rewards of humanitarian engineering. The presenters were well-prepared and very enthusiastic. Overall, the experience was very worthwhile, and we are thankful of the role of the Business Liaison Association in enabling University of Queensland to bring this opportunity to FNQ."
