2017 Annual Awards

The Business Liaison Association was celebrating its ANNUAL AWARDS PRESENTATION function to recognise the achievements of secondary school students throughout FNQ. The presentation was held at Wednesday 29th November at the Pullman Cairns International.  Secondary School Students were presented awards in 21 categories.  Schools from throughout Far North Qld have applied for these wonderful awards. All the Awards are sponsored by local industry groups and students are required to submit a Resume, Application and prepare for an interview with an Industry Panel. On Thursday 26 October the Business Liaison Association and Design and Technology Teachers' Association of Qld hosted again the Regional Secondary Schools Design and Technology Awards at the Events Cinemas, Cairns Central. Students from secondary schools throughout Far North Qld  have entered this exciting competition, which gives them the opportunity to demonstrate not only their technical knowledge, but also their very creative skills. Annual Awards Presentation Evening

On Wednesday 30 November 2016, the Business Liaison Association's Annual Awards Presentation Evening took place at the Pullman Reef Casino. It was an excellent evening where the work of students from schools across the far north was rewarded with cash prizes and bursaries to help them further their education. The presentation evening took place on 27 October 2016 at Event Cinemas, Cairns Central.  A record number of entries was received and the work was of an exceptionally high calibre.
