The MiHaven Training Hospitality and Tourism Awards were created to help students of Hospitality and Tourism subjects within Far North Queensland schools gain exposure to industry professionals and create opportunities for students to gain employment in this crucial industry in the region.  The awards allow students to develop a range of essential skills for entry to the Hospitality and Tourism industry with the guidance of experienced, passionate professionals.

The aim of the awards is to:

• Promote and encourage careers within the Hospitality and Tourism industry.
• Give students the opportunity to experience the selection processes for employment.
• Provide students with a unique opportunity to meet senior executives working in the hospitality and tourism industry in FNQ.
• Provide students with additional industry experience that may lead to employment post schooling.

Closing Date: Monday 2nd September, 2024

First Prize: $ 800

Second Prize: $ 500

Runner Up Prize: 2 x $250
