JACOBS ENGINEERING AWARD

Our Jacobs Engineering Award Sponsors

Hosted by the Business Liaison Association (BLA) in partnership with local schools and community stakeholders in Cairns, North Queensland.

The Business Liaison Association extends its sincere appreciation to Jacobs Engineering for their valued sponsorship of the Jacobs Engineering Award.

Through their ongoing support, we continue to strengthen pathways between education, training, and employment, empowering the next generation of students and future professionals across Far North Queensland.

Overview

The Jacobs Engineering Awards recognise the excellence of Year 11 & 12 students in the Far North Queensland region who demonstrate outstanding capability in engineering design, problem-solving, and innovation.

These awards celebrate students who exhibit a solutions-oriented mindset, strong analytical thinking, and a commitment to pursuing further study in engineering or a closely related field at the tertiary level.

Through engagement with real-world engineering challenges, the competition encourages students to develop practical and theoretical skills while strengthening connections between schools, industry, and higher education pathways.
