Business Liaison Association
Sandra Grimm 16 February, 2018 Careers

The Emerging Entrepreneurs program empowers students to imagine, create and build future careers, teaching entrepreneurial skills, innovative business thinking, and practical problem solving skills through STEM principles.

Key inclusions will be collaboration with employers, mentors and connecting to community, through experience-based learning partnering with stakeholders such as Chamber of Commerce, Tablelands Regional Council, Tablelands StartUp and Innovation.

Students will build live projects solving problems such as innovative solutions using technology, working with farmers and local business to overcome challenges faced in remote areas - significantly improving opportunities enabling youth to build futures within their remote community.

Upon completion, students will pitch to business owners, investors, and community promoting their product or concept, which will also be used to contribute towards their assessment.
