About Construction Skills Queensland
Construction Skills Queensland is an independent industry-funded body focused on building a skilled and sustainable construction workforce across Queensland. CSQ works with employers, workers, registered training organisations and industry partners to improve access to training, respond to workforce needs and support capability across the building and construction sector. Its programs help eligible participants develop practical skills, maintain licences, expand qualifications and respond to changing industry requirements. Through regional engagement and workforce planning, CSQ also provides industry with information about future priorities and investment. The Far North Queensland launch of its 2026–27 Training Plan will outline upcoming initiatives and regional opportunities for the sector.
