The Careers and Employment Expo took place on Thursday 25 May 2017 at the Fred Moule pavilion at the Cairns Showgrounds.
Over 3000 students, teachers, parents and members of the public made the most of the opportunity to talk to a range of vocational providers, apprenticeship and traineeship providers and tertiary/university institutions.
This event is the only one of its kind in the far north. Planning for 2018 is underway - and based on feedback from schools - we will be running information sessions and workshops for students at the same time as the Expo is taking place.
