Billboard Competition

The Business Liaison Association (BLA), in conjunction with the Cairns Show Association, once again offers the Cairns Show Association "Billboard Competition" to years 9, 10, 11 and 12 Visual Art and Digital Media students in Far North Queensland.

The competition is offering students in the Far North the opportunity to have their original artwork displayed on a 4m x 12m billboard located at the Scott Street entrance at the Cairns Show Grounds.

Students may enter their work in the following 3 categories:

1. Original Artwork – Any Media                             
2. Original Photograph
3. Original Digitally Manipulated Image

Closing Date: Friday 23rd May, 2025

First Prize: • $150.00 Cash Prize and a Certificate of Participation• Inclusion on the 12-metre-long billboard at Scott Street, Cairns Showgrounds • Involvement with local Media • Inclusion in Business Liaison Association Website• One Day Family Pass to the Cairns Sh

Second Prize: Prizes –Second in each Category (3 Winners) • $75.00 Cash Prize and a Certificate of Participation • One Day Double Pass to Cairns Show 2025
