Schools have the opportunity, to nominate student essays from Year 11 and Year 12 Legal Studies for the Gayler Cleland Solicitors Legal Studies Competition 2018.
The competition is comprised of two categories – Year 11 and 12. When submitting essays nominate which category the applicant is entering upon submission.
The Legal Studies essay competition is kindly sponsored by Gayler Cleland Solicitors. We are extremely grateful for their support and provision of cash prizes.
Winners of the two categories will be eligible to win a cash prize of
First Prize $200
Second Prize $150
Third Prize $100
Winners of the two categories will be presented with their prizes at the BLA Annual Awards Ceremony. All participating students will also receive a certificate of participation.
The Awards presentation night will be held Wednesday, 28 November 2018 at Cairns Hilton Hotel, 5.30 pm - 7.30 pm. Students receiving awards are expected to be in attendance in full school uniform. Details of the Presentation Night will be forwarded to individual prize winners.
Please ensure that the submitted essays are typed, cover all legal studies criteria and that relevant notes are attached. A $88 (inc GST) registration fee per school is payable to the Business Liaison Association. Following registration, tax invoices will be issued to participating schools.
Please forward hard copies of your students work with the attached registration form at the address below by the Friday, 31st August 2018.
