Award for Excellence in Physical Education & Health 2018

The Business Liaison Association Inc., is offering Bursaries for students interested in pursuing a career in a Physical Education/Sports Physiotherapy or Sports Medicine related field at Tertiary Level.

The Awards are open to all Senior (Year 12) students in the Far North Qld Region.  The Awards are in the form of a suitably engraved Plaque and a Certificate, which is supported, by one $1,000.00 Bursary; Runner Up Award $700 and a $500.00 Encouragement Award. The allocation may vary from year to year depending on applications received.

The sponsors of these Awards are Mareeba Leagues Club and Peninsula Sporting Goods. 

Please read the attached details and conditions carefully and forward Application Form by the 17th September 2018.

Also note the following:

  1. Each school must forward an Application Fee of $88 (inc. GST) to cover administrative costs of the Awards. 
  1. All students who participate will be eligible for a Certificate of Participation.  The winners will be given a separate certificate acknowledging this.
  1. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE FORWARDED TO  Ewan Pike ( Atherton State High School)

A Presentation Function will be held on the 28th November 2018 at Cairns Hilton Hotel, 5.30pm – 7.30pm, and invitations will be forwarded at a later date.  Winners are required to attend this presentation function to receive their award. We encourage you to participate and please adhere to the deadlines given in order to facilitate the co-ordination of this award.

First Prize: $1000 bursary

Second Prize: Runner Up $700

Third Prize: Encouragement Award $500
