Cairns Careers Expo Welcome Function
Held on the evening before the Cairns Careers Expo, the Welcome Function brings together sponsors, supporters, exhibitors, educators, industry representatives and community partners for an evening of networking and connection.
The function provides guests with an opportunity to meet fellow participants, build new professional relationships and strengthen existing partnerships in a relaxed setting before the Expo opens the following day. It also allows exhibitors and school representatives to connect, share information and gain a better understanding of the organisations and industries represented at the event.
The Welcome Function recognises the important contribution of the many businesses, organisations, schools and individuals who help make the Cairns Careers Expo possible. It provides an opportunity to acknowledge the support of sponsors and partners, welcome exhibitors to the event and celebrate the collaborative effort required to deliver one of Far North Queensland’s largest career and education events.
By bringing education and industry together before the Expo, the function helps create stronger connections, encourages future collaboration and supports the shared goal of providing meaningful career information and opportunities for young people across the region.
